Responsibilities & functions

  • Actively servicing a range of clients with the guidance and support of senior colleagues
  • Providing tactical corporate and financial communications support to a dedicated portfolio of clients  
  • Advising on and supporting the logistics around corporate communications campaigns for major client announcements
  • Developing communications materials related to business related stories as well financial and company performance, including press releases, messaging and Q&A documents, alongside other related activities
  • Supporting proactive storytelling activity on behalf of clients through media pitching and engagement
  • Managing press queries for clients with guidance from senior team members
  • Monitoring media coverage and reporting of results to the wider team and clients
  • Supporting the efficient functioning of client accounts through administrative duties
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments; continuously increasing sectoral knowledge
  • Developing a deep understanding of your clients’ business, anticipating their needs, and managing expectations
  • Cultivating relationships with key national business media and professional intermediaries

  • Highly motivated to produce timely, insightful deliverables
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong work ethic

Qualifications/Experience Essential

  • A qualification and/or practical experience in a direct or related field (including, but not limited to communications, journalism, investor relations, accounting and finance, business, and marketing) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
