DMG Media announced Media Partner for #PRIIConf24
Taking place on Thursday, 24 October at Croke Park, the theme for the conference is ‘Community of PRactice - Building Community in Divisive Times: What can public relations advisors do?’
In a world increasingly fractured by crises and disinformation, the conference will explore the role, and responsibility public relations and the media have in creating cohesion in Irish society. Featuring a very special keynote from Mary Robinson on the power of words, the programme includes two panel discussions, four expert speakers, and six case studies covering all aspects of community building, in real life and online.
Speaking at the announcement of the partnership, PRII CEO Martina Byrne said, 'The involvement of DMG Media will help in taking that conversation to a wider audience through its channels. DMG is a cornerstone of some of Ireland’s most popular media brands like EVOKE, Extra.ie, The Irish Daily Mail, Business Plus and many more. They are known for combining professional journalism with deep insights across broadcast, print and digital platforms to engage audiences.'
Paul Henderson, CEO of DMG Media said, ‘The theme of this year’s conference couldn’t be more relevant to us. The strength of DMG Media brands is built on communities. Through our multiple brands, we have built communities of over 3.6 million people in Ireland who engage with us daily for great content. Our decision to partner with the PRII for their key annual event was a very easy one. The standards that Martina and the team set in their promotion of the practice of public relations and communications in Ireland feed directly into a functioning media ecosystem.’
