Mediahuis Ireland has appointed Liz Kearney as the new editor of the Sunday Independent.  Since May 2023, Liz has been the Group Head of Features, leading a team of editors and writers for Ireland’s top digital and print products.

Last Friday, IAPI announced the shortlisted PR teams from the Irish Heat for the Cannes Young Lions Competition. The judging panel, including our CEO Martina Byrne, meticulously evaluated the entries and selected the top five teams.

This disclosure, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FoI) request, has left many ministers frustrated and concerned about the potential repercussions.

A new daily newsletter named The Dublin Minute has been launched. Curated by Richard Magnier, the PR man, the newsletter is compiled from local Dublin news outlets, events websites, and reader contributions. It aims to broaden awareness “beyond the usual headlines and algorithm-driven content.”
