PRSA's Unwavering Commitment to DEI: An Open Letter
Despite the growing criticism and politicisation of DEI initiatives, the PRSA emphasised their belief that ‘DEI is not a passing trend — it is fundamental to the future of public relations, business and society.’
The PRSA acknowledged the challenges faced by its chapters in states where DEI policies are under attack. The Society offered ‘unwavering support and the necessary tools to navigate these challenges while upholding the principles of fairness, representation, and inclusion’.
Finally, addressing their members in the statement they said, “Whether you seek DEI best practices, educational programming, or a community that values equity and inclusion, PRSA is your home. In the coming weeks, we will introduce additional DEI resources to help you integrate these principles into your professional development.”
