Trudi McDonald appointed Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Fáilte Ireland

Trudi McDonald (MPRII) has been appointed Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Fáilte Ireland.

Trudi joined the Corporate Communications team in Fáilte Ireland in 2020 and she has been a member of the PRII National Council since 2023.

Trudi has more than eight years of experience in strategic communications, PR and public affairs across public sector, agency and in-house roles. She previously worked as an account manager in Wilson Hartnell PR and in various roles in the UK and Australia. 

Trudi won the Irish Cannes Young PR Lion in 2019 and represented Ireland at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity. 

She is a graduate of DCU (BA Hons Journalism), University of Leeds (MA in Corporate Communications, Marketing and PR) and is currently completing an MSc in International Public Policy at Queen’s University.
